The WS Society and STEP Scotland’s annual joint conference for private client lawyers and advisers returns to the Signet Library after two years online. This year’s programme covers a comprehensive range of legal, tax and asset protection issues for the modern private client practitioner. Speakers will focus on practical advice for clients against the backdrop of a rapidly changing demographic, uncertain market conditions and the cost-of-living crisis. Leading UK barrister Oliver Marre (5 Stone Buildings) will give his keynote session on the subject on developments in capital taxes and related case law.
