The WS Society and STEP Scotland’s annual joint conference for private client lawyers and advisers returns to the Signet Library after two years online. This year’s programme covers a comprehensive range of legal, tax and asset protection issues for the modern private client practitioner. Speakers will focus on practical advice for clients against the backdrop of a rapidly changing demographic, uncertain market conditions and the cost-of-living crisis. Leading UK barrister Oliver Marre (5 Stone Buildings) will give his keynote session on the subject on developments in capital taxes and related case law. The conference will be chaired by Sandy Lamb WS (Lindsays). The conference is sponsored by Adam & Company Wealth Management and Finders International.
