PURPOSES

To provide financial relief and support for amateur and professional scientists, who have a practical interest in the pursuit of science in any of its forms.

 

WHO MAY APPLY

  • Individuals over the age of 50. There is a preference for individuals living in Scotland, or with a clear Scottish connection, but people from elsewhere in the UK are also eligible.

  • Organisations whose purposes align with those of the Murdoch Trust may also apply

 

EXAMPLES OF GRANTS

  • Financial assistance with transport.

  • Financial assistance with furniture and home repairs.

  • Purchase of computers and equipment.

  • Grants for well-being and care.

  • Personal expenses.
