A new addition to the WS Society’s legal education programme for 2022, this conference covers developments in professional negligence litigation in Scotland. The comprehensive programme will cover the perspectives of individuals, insurers and professional bodies. The keynote address will be given by the Honourable Lord Ericht who will offer his reflections on professional negligence actions in the Court of Session. Further sessions include an update on the law of prescription for professional negligence lawyers, a case law review, current procedural and practice matters and the role of the expert witness and expert reports. The conference will be chaired by Cat MacLean WS.
