Lower Library

The Lower Library is available for evening and weekend use; accommodating guests for a drinks reception alongside the Upper Library, for wedding ceremonies to be performed or for intimate aperitifs at the round table prior to dinner in the Commissioners Room.

Study desks, which housed the original heaters, remain in the room to create occasional tables and the beautiful round table beyond the archway is the perfect backdrop for floral displays or wedding cakes.

Throughout the day the Lower Library is a working law libary and could ideally be used for hot desking between meetings in Edinburgh city centre.
